The current World Series champions of 2010 are the San Francisco Giants. Entering the National League in 1883 The Giants are one of the oldest Major League Baseball teams still around today.
The champions defeated the Texas Rangers in 2010.
The team first originated in Manhattan,New York until the end of the 1957 season which when they then moved to San Francisco. In 1962 they brought a World Series to San Francisco after defeating The Dodgers in the Playoff Series. However the New York Yankees conquered them winning four games to three. They then continued to be Pennant contenders throughout the 1960′s but did not enter another World Series until 1989. In the 70′s they did bring out two Rookie of the Year winners. In 1973 that was Gary Matthews Sr and in 1975 John Montefusco. After this the rest of the 1970′s were quit disheartening for the team as they never finished higher then third place.
After many loses came the 1989 World Series. The Giants defeated The Cubs four to one and after twenty seven years were the champions in the league.
The Barry Bonds era is a well known historical time for The Giants. Beginning in 1993 Bonds stayed with The Giants until 2007 and is considered one of the greatest players of all time.
1994 would be the beginning of three years of losing and going through a strike that canceled the rest of the 1994 season and The World Series. Finally 1998 was the start of some good seasons and many players gave some great records. Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent both had 30 plus home runs and 100 plus RBI. The team also tied for the National League Wild Card but lost to the Chicago Cubs.
In 2000, after 40 years of calling Candlestick Park their home the team moved to what is know called AT&T Park. The AT&T Park has given much success and earned the nick name “Pitcher’s Park “. The Giants ended the 2002 season as second in the National League losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks and was another great MVP season for Bonds.
Everyday in the 2003 season was a winner for the team. They finished in first place every game and entered the play offs. The Florida Marins would end the season winning three to one.
2008 would be the first season without Barry Bonds since 1992 and the team would go on to finish the season in fourth place. In 2010 they won the National League Western Division making it the first time since 2003. The Giants are now the winners of six World Series Championships, 7 Western Division, 1 wild card berth and 21 pennants. from Tim at www.allpro.com

It is just a known fact that the online casinos are not as accountable as the real life casino in a building. The internet offer quick start-ups and little in the way of restrictions. Online casinos work beneath a mask of anonymity since they can be in business and not show their face and don’t have to tell you about themselves. This is how crooked establishments begin and internet scams with all kinds of problems.
Not all are like this of course. There are many, many online casinos with great services that lots of customers enjoy and done without that trip to Las Vegas. So how do you know the good from the bad? First, look at the web design. Is it up to date with lots of information that is offered in a pleasing way? Or does it resemble something a kid created with a HTML textbook? How big is the variety of games and how are the graphics?
Then just google that casino and see what you get. Check other gambling websites for reviews. Try Gambling Planet or Wizard of Odds and choose a casino that has a good reputation.
